Terms of service
Last updated: August 24, 2026
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between Andy.Build, the company behind SingCommand ("we"), and the organization that creates a SingCommand workspace ("the choir"). The person who creates the workspace represents that they are authorized to accept these terms on the choir's behalf. Individual members who sign in to a choir's portal are covered by the choir's agreement.
The service
SingCommand provides choir-management software: roster, attendance, music library, financial tools, governance records, communication, and a public website, as described at singcommand.com/features. We improve the service continuously; features may change, and we will not materially degrade the core service you subscribed to without notice.
Fees and trial
- The subscription is a flat $39 per month per choir, with every module included.
- New choirs get a 60-day free trial with full functionality; no payment method is required to start.
- After the trial, a subscription is required to keep the workspace active. An unsubscribed workspace is suspended — made read-only and then inaccessible — but its data is not deleted for non-payment.
- You can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires.
- Price changes apply no earlier than your next renewal and only after advance notice to the choir owner.
Your data is yours
The choir owns its data. We claim no rights over roster records, music metadata, financial records, or website content beyond what is needed to operate the service. You can export your data at any time, including during suspension. Our privacy policy describes how data is processed and protected.
The choir's responsibilities
- Enter member data lawfully — including having appropriate consent for data about minors in your program.
- Upload only music and media you have the right to store and share with your members. Sheet music and recordings in the library are served only to your own signed-in members, but the licensing responsibility is yours.
- Keep account credentials secure and remove access for people who leave.
- Don't abuse the platform: no unlawful content, no spam through the messaging tools, no attempts to breach other choirs' data.
Payments between the choir and its members
Dues, donations, and ticket sales are processed through the choir's own Stripe account under Stripe's terms; the money flows to the choir, not to us. We are not a party to those transactions and add no fee on top of Stripe's processing fees.
Termination
The choir owner can delete the workspace at any time; deletion is scheduled with a short grace window, after which all data is purged permanently. We may suspend or terminate a workspace that materially breaches these terms, with notice and a chance to cure where practical. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give at least 90 days' notice and keep exports available through that period.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is." We work hard on reliability and backups, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is capped at the fees the choir paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from the service that the parties cannot resolve informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms materially, we will notify choir owners by email before the change takes effect. Questions: hello@singcommand.com.
